MMS is focused on maximising project value; recently mobilising a fleet of Cat 773G fitted with custom-designed hungry boards from their Bibra Lake workshop.
MMS stepped up to the challenge when our client sought to reduce the strip ratio while maintaining productivity with material that was limited by volume, rather than weight. The option of Cat 773G trucks with high sides enabled greater material transportation per load while still allowing the client to reduce ramp widths and steeper the ramp angle that was originally design for Cat 777. Since the Cat 773G trucks have been in operation, the survey volumes are now supporting an average of 34 BCM per truck, rivalling the standard Cat 777 payloads.
The customised fleet offers a more cost-effective alternative to a fleet of moxies, addresses volume limitations and optimises efficiency.
