MMS has successfully commenced load and haul services at Legacy Iron Ore’s Mount Celia Gold Operation. This project marks the start of Legacy Iron Ore’s South Laverton Projects.
The load and haul services that are underway are a part of a contract secured by MMS; to provide a full turnkey mining solution for the greenfield mining project. We are currently working with Legacy Iron Ore and Bain Global Resources to execute the project, and have mobilised a primary dig fleet comprising of our Cat 773’s and a Hitachi EX1200. The site currently has a 14-month mine life, with several opportunities available for expansion.
As part of our full turn key solution, we are managing statutory positions on site, as well as operational and OHS management systems. Our experienced workforce and our fleet of new and low-hour machinery ensures that we can deliver efficient and effective outcomes for the Mount Celia project.
